After the announcement of the departure of the Hong Jin Young-Nam Goong Min and Hong Jong Hyun-Yura couple from MBC's 'We Got Married; it is now revealed that Super Junior M's Henry has joined the show through hints from his mysterious Instagram post. Idols CNBLUE's Jonghyun as well as the disbanded group Jewelry's Yewon is also rumoured to be joining. The three are now confirmed to join as well as a rookie actress named Gong Seung Yeon.

Multiple representatives have revealed to Star News on March 2 that , "The two new couples for MBC's 'We Got Married: Season 4' will engage in filming today."

Participants Henry, Jonghyun, Yewon and Gong Seung Yeon has not yet be revealed how they will be partnered up. A rep stated, "The four people chosen for appearance will be filming, but we do not know who will be paired up with who to become a couple yet."

The show has decided to have the four participants go on one-on- ones dates before letting them decide who they wish to be partnered up with. Who do you think will end up with who? State your thoughts down below in the comments section!

MBC's Idol Star Olympics

Happy Lunar New Year! MBC has celebrated Lunar New Year by airing its popular sports competition 'Idol Star Athletics Championships'. Competition was fierce this year as your favorite idols compete against one another in track & field and various other sports. Here are some of the results for the first day of the event.


                                           

The competition for indoor soccer was furious as it was a battle between team captains Beast's Doojoon (Makchae Star United) and SHINee's Minho (FC Chungdam). Last year, Doojon's team lost the Idol Futsal World Cup so his desire to win this year was undeniable.Unfortunately,the championship returned to its former victor, allowing Minho to be the winner for the second year in a row as Doojoon fail to take his revenge.

Other idols that shined on the show were KARA's Hara who took on the 60 meter race for women,taking first place with an impressive 9.33 second record. f(x)'s Luna took the gold medal for the women's high jump. BTOB's Minhyuk took the gold medal for the men's high jump.

EXID's Hani Accused of Having a Sexual Affair with a Middle- Aged Actor

EXID's Hani, a Korean girl group member who has recently rose to fame after a fancam of her went viral, has been accused of having a sexual affair with a middle-aged actor.


The original rumor said that A, a female idol is a sex slave to B, a married middle-aged actor B. A is a popular member of a girl group that recently gain fame has been involved in a secret love affair with one of Korea’s top middle-aged actors. After she has gained fame, A still goes to B voluntarily whenever B calls and goes along with B’s perverse tastes.


Netizens are now speculating A and B as Hani and Lee Byung Hun. Actor Lee Byung Hun, has recently been involved in a controversy that involves model Lee Ji Yeon and idol Dahee. The actor is married to actress Lee Min Jung, who is currently pregnant.


However, EXID’s agency Yedang Entertainment has stepped up to deny these rumors, They stated that the claims were ludicrous and false, therefore, they did not pay attention to it. They further more exclaimed that actions will be taken if the rumor of Hani is spread further.

Sports Chosun Rank Girl Groups for 2015

Sports Chosun recently revealed their results for girl group rankings of 2015 using rankings from the fans that were posted onto a online community named "Girl Group Rankings to Look at for Fun," opinions were also taken from 10 girl group representatives.




In the chart above, the first ranking is named 'The Unbreakable Wall,' representing a ranking that isn't easy to enter. This has Korea's top girl groups: Girls' Generation,2NE1, and SISTAR with Girl's Day climbing up towards this tier.

In the second tier, it consists of only A Pink with AOA rising quickly towards there.

Representatives from both A Cube and Dream Tea Entertainment are both looking forward to future promotions of AOA now that they succeedded with their sexy concept.

Next in the third tier, we have SECRET, f(x), 4minute, and KARA with f(x) dropping one down one while KARA going up one.

In the fourth tier are EXID, miss A, and Nine Muses."

The next tier includes T-ara, Hello Venus.and Dal Shabet and Crayon Pop who both both down by one.

The last tier contains BESTie as well as strong rookie groups like MAMAMOO, Red Velvet, G-Friend, and SONAMOO. Representatives are saying that MAMAMOO is gaining lots of attention since they are a very talented group. Red Velvet also made it to the tier since people have high expectations for them since they're SM's new girl group." G-Friend as well are gaining attention for a sweet and refreshing image while SONAMOO has a very strong image and lots of charisma, therefore gaining lots of attention.

Song So Hee, a Gukak Musician Sued

Song So Hee, a star in Gukak (traditional Korean music) industry, is being sued by her agency D&i Entertainment for not properly distributing the agency's share of the profit that she got from her activities.

Legal representatives of D&i Entertainment stated that, D&i Entertainment's CEO Choi Yong Soo signed Song So Hee under an exclusive contract with the agency and has been managing her ever since July 2013. However, the agency has not been able to receive their share of revenue and decided to file a lawsuit about this problem.

CEO Choi Yong Soo exclaimed that although Song So Hee has deposited the adjusted amount twice, she did not distribute the revenue properly. Various attempts like sending certification of contents were used to settle the situation, but Song So Hee has yet to respond, causing a lawsuit to be filed.

The CEO further more added that 7-year contract with 5:5 (50/50) profit distribution with Song So Hee was signed.However, the agency has not be able to receive their share of the profit. Song So Hee is also said to have promoted individually, by excluding the agency and ignoring the terms stated on her contract.

The first case for the lawsuit is said to be held on March 3 at the Seoul Southern District Court.

Music Monday: February 2015

Another week of February means another week of new awesome kpop music! Here are a few of our favourite music releases that just came out.

Amber Liu f(x): Shake That Brass

I've always loved f(x)'s music, but felt that it was one of the underrated groups in the Korean entertainment industry. However, Amber's solo debut proves how talented she is. The song "Shake that Bass" is a very upbeat song featuring cameos of fellow kpop idols such as Girls' Generation member Hyoyeon, miss A's Min, GOT7's Jackson, Rainbow's Woori, NU'EST's Aron, C-Clown's Rome, G.O.D.'s Joon Park, SNSD's Taeyeon etc. The song has a very upbeat style with many brass instruments accompanying it. Both Amber's rap and Taeyeon's singing is able to thoroughly capture the listener's attention, the song may even get addicting after a couple listens. Overall, the song was well done, but if I had to say something about it, Taeyeon's "Shake that Brass" sounds more like "Shake that Breast." Lol

Teen Top Niel: Lovekiller

Another talented idol singer debuting as a solo! This song skillfully shows Niel's talent in singing as well as dancing. The dance track is a catchy song that suits Niel’s smooth voice. Popular rapper Dok2 also features on the song with a short part. We like Dok2, but we think the song's good enough that he doesn't need to be featured in it.Other than that, the music video shows a very sexy side of Niel that will make all you fan girls love it.

Lizzy & Park Myung Soo: Goodbye PMS

This song is really funny and cool in my opinion, but honestly, anything with Park Myung Soo is bound to be funny. The music video is also quite cute with Park Myung Soo in his devil costume. It's honestly also one of the songs that I found it to be very relatable since its topic is about premenstrual syndrome aka a girl's period. Like how anyone not relate to it? Overall, its one of these comedy and hilarious songs that are perfect for a CF.

No. Mercy Sub-Unit: Interstellar

With the results of the final members announced, it still makes me sad to see so many of my favourite members already eliminated. However, this song is pretty good, showcasing the three members' hard work. The chorus is also very catching by Hyungwon, showcasing his improvement.

Dr. Frost Drama: Summary/Review

A couple of weeks back, I was trying to search for a new drama to watch. I wanted something like a thriller, and had a lot of suspense in it, rather than the usual romantic comedies that I tend to watch. After some time spent searching, I finally came across a drama called “Dr. Frost.” After reading the plot, I knew that it was a must-watch for me and was exactly what I wanted. However, now that the drama is over, I will share my thoughts along with a brief summary about the drama for those of you who did not watch it and may be interested.

Plot:
Baek Nam-Bong, known as Dr.Frost because of his white hair, is a handsome, yet cold professor of psychology by day and a bartender by night. When he was younger, Dr. Frost had gotten into a car accident, causing him to have a frontal lobe injury, leaving him with no emotions. Due to him being already smart, the incident also increased his reasoning levels, making him a genius. When asked by his mentor, Cheon Sang Won to work at the university counseling center, Dr. Frost encounters his old classmate as well as colleauge, Song Sun and meets his teaching assistant, Yoon Sung Ah. Using his high reasoning and detective skills, Dr. Frost assists detective Nam Tae Bong in solving crimes as well as the mysteries to his life and people around him.

Thoughts:

In my opinion, I think that it was a drama that succeed my expectations. Perhaps it is because I had never watched a drama about psychology, it was very interesting to see Dr. Frost analyze different situations and cases depending on the person's expressions and actions. Although, there were some parts where I felt that weren't completely solved such as the part where the criminal came back of jail and the relationship between Song Sun and Dr. Frost, it's mysteries had fit in to make the audience think and let their minds wander into the results and endings.
